Moles pop out of holes and you click them before they duck back down. That is the entire game, and it works for the same reason the fairground cabinet worked: the appearances get faster and closer together until your reaction time simply runs out. Rounds are short and it needs no explanation whatsoever.
Click or tap each mole as it appears. Score as many hits as you can before time runs out.
