Using the site

Breko is free to use and needs no account. You may play any game here for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a volume that affects other people, or use it to distribute anything harmful.

The games are other people’s work

Every game on this site is open source software written by an individual developer or team, and used here under the licence they chose. We did not write them and we do not claim to own them. Each game page names its author, its licence and links to its original source.

Those licences govern the games themselves. If you want to use a game elsewhere, follow the licence on its source repository rather than these terms.

Some games are published here under a different title from the original, where the original name is a trademark we have no right to use. Where that applies, the game page says so and gives the original name.

If you own something here

We have tried carefully to include only work that is licensed for this use. If you are a rights holder and believe something on this site infringes your rights, contact us and we will investigate and remove it promptly if you are right. We would much rather hear from you than from your lawyer.

Advertising

The site is funded by advertising. We choose the ad networks but not the individual adverts, and we are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the sites they lead to. If you see an advert here that is misleading or offensive, please tell us which one and we will take it up with the network.

No warranty

Breko is provided as is. We do not guarantee that the site or any game will be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors, and games may be added or removed at any time. Game progress saved in your browser is not backed up by us and can be lost if you clear your browser data.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
